Sinan Şamil Sam

Sinan Şamil Sam (23 June 1974 – 30 October 2015) was a Turkish heavyweight professional boxer. As a professional boxer, Sam won the EBU, World Boxing Council and WBC Mediterranean titles in the heavyweight division. According to his former managers, Sam died after battling liver and kidney failure.

*1995 3rd place (Heavyweight) at the World Championships in Berlin, losing in the Semifinal to Luan Krasniqi
*1998 3rd place (Super Heavyweight) at the European Championships in Minsk, Belarus
*1999 won the World Championships in the Super Heavyweight in Houston
